Our initial trials showed an undesirable wear pattern at the top shoulder of the cone inlets, and accelerated failure due to erosion. [Our Supplier] did some more research and modified the internal cavity. We hope to extend the service lifetime to a year or more. With all new cones, and 325 screens, we seem to have improved our solids capture performance.
Over Labor Day, we decided to take the screens to the local car wash after five months in service and give them a thorough cleaning, with soap and all. Maintenance cost for a few minutes extra ran us about $8.75.

When confronted with a new idea, do you:
Pretty dangerous stuff, Mr. Edison :) We were visiting Cleveland on another mission and found the perfect engine for our Nigerian Delta Fleet of remediation craft. Shallow draft, 400 horsepower, all electric...and fits in a C-17 for transport. I love it when a plan comes together. This is your new blog post. For mobile convenience, we mount our system on a boat, or several, and deploy ourselves over a larger geographic area than one can manage with a single plant on shore. We can supply a marine system on a 68' workboat, on-board generator, twin electric bow thrusters, all-electric process equipment, communications, navigation and self defense almost anywhere in the world. We can supply toll operation in your area or train your crew on the equipment. Check us out on https://www.iwork.com/document/en/?a=p1317861671&d=Vortex_Fluid_Systems_Minerals.key
