We spent the morning at the beach. This is a good habit, if you have one (a beach). The waves roll in pretty unceasingly, about 5 per minute, some bigger, some smaller, to deposit their Flotsam (Big Chunks) and Jetsam (Little Black Things) at the water edge. This is stuff you don't really notice in the water, but it does pile up at the edge and is noticeable. Our equipment makes about 1800 waves per minute on our beach, about 4000 equivalent feet deep at the water's edge. The Flotsam and Jetsam are transported off the beach, the clean water rolls back in. The process is pretty dependable, and has actually been around for years. Millennia, actually.
